Terry Reintke is the co-president of the Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance party and has been a member of the European Parliament since 2014.

Terry describes herself as a feminist and a supporter of women’s rights. During her time in the European Parliament, Reintke has campaigned for LGBTQI rights and against the exploitation of European workers. In a statement on the Greens/EFA website, Reintke said that through using her political work she will stand firmly against any backlash and continue to fight for a fair and progressive Europe.

The minister for Germany has been a member in meetings surrounding the Russian invasion of Ukraine in the last year, which have included a meeting with the Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov, Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, and a meeting with the Ukrainian civil rights lawyer and Civil Society Leader, Oleksandra Matviichuk, and the families of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
