We were told it was safe to move.

Then we were told all of the things we were banned from doing.

Everyone dreams of the ‘uni experience’ but that dream was far from reality this year.

Students moved to Glasgow from all over the country, and other countries too, to sit in a small room in student accommodation and get told that their friends and family weren’t allowed to visit and they couldn’t go home.

Then we were blamed for the rise in cases.

Most of us are struggling with online university, students and lecturers, but has the government actually been helpful with the transition from in person classes to online.

Most importantly, have they done the right thing by ‘locking us up’?

In this video (see above), we hear from students currently staying in the halls of residence.
