A video has been released by the club offering fans a virtual tour of the new look Edmiston House which is situated next to Ibrox where the old building has stood for years.
Being touted as a “state-of-the-art” facility by Ibrox bosses the refurb will include a new Rangers museum, superstore, cafe and a “fantastic” events space for matchdays and beyond.
The building will be an integral part of the club’s 150th-anniversary celebrations as it is due to open in the summer of next year.
A statement from Rangers said:
“Rangers Football Club is pushing forward into our 150th year as invincible champions and are gearing up to mark this phenomenal milestone with a series of landmark events.
“The biggest of these will be the opening of New Edmiston House, an incredible, state-of-the-art facility which will host a long-awaited club museum, a new two-storey Rangers Store and a fantastic events space for use on matchdays and beyond, thus enhancing the experience for supporters when they visit Ibrox at games and increasing footfall on the Ibrox campus on a daily basis.
“It will be a truly world-class space, not just for Rangers, but for the local community and the City of Glasgow, with the event space being capable of hosting conferences, gigs, awards ceremonies and other similar occasions.” [source]

Along with the major renovation of Edmiston House the Ibrox club have also detailed plans for further events throughout the season to commemorate their 150th anniversary with club chiefs stating:
“Throughout the season, our kit and retail partner Castore will release commemorative kits that pay tribute to the rich heritage and success this club has been built on. These kit launches will be further complemented by special edition training wear, leisurewear and retro items for all ages.
“MyGers members will be the first to experience the 150th-anniversary identity with the new season 2021/22 welcome packs specifically designed to celebrate this moment with exclusive collectors’ items. MyGers members can also look forward to exclusive events and experiences plus unique opportunities to influence some of the anniversary planning and legacy projects.” [source]
