Food Standards Scotland are travelling to campuses across the country to promote their #NoToUpSizing campaign.

Their aim is to make people aware of the health risks upsizing your food and drink orders pose.

Although upsizing your food or drink order may seem harmless, obesity is a rising problem in the UK with two thirds of scots being overweight or obese. FSS say the impacts of obesity are taking a toll on the NHS.

According to reports by the government costs attributable to overweight and obesity are projected to £9.7 billion by 2050.

We spoke to a member of Food Standards Scotland and she told us some more information about what exactly the campaign aims to do.
