With thousands of delegates attending the Glasgow COP26 conference for the second and final week, one area that will be on the agenda for them to discuss is the fashion industry.

In our COP26 podcast released last week, the fashion and textile students of Glasgow Clyde College spoke about a variety of environmental issues that come from our clothing choices.

Now, in this extended interview Chole Gardener and Callum Smith delve deeper into the following issues:

  • The struggles of finding sustainable brands
  • Whether large fashion companies will change from current standards which produce a lot of waste
  • How the UK produced enough wool to make clothing for the entire country in 2018, creating 22,000 tonnes but still imported another 45,000 tonnes of wool
  • And how online shopping is not always terrible.

All that and more in the podcast below.
